Railway recruitment board Siliguri is the new established recruitment board which came into existence in 2009-10 as a 21st recruitment board of Indian railway. It is functioning under the administrative control of Railway Recruitment Control Board, Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, and New Delhi.   2.  All written examinations are of multiple choice objective type. There will be negative marking, 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

  4.  The questions will be in General Knowledge/General Intelligence and Reasoning and Analytical abilities and in the technical/professional subjects wherever technical/professional qualifications are prescribed. Even in categories where selection is through a single stage examination, the Railway Recruitment Board can prescribe a second stage examination depending upon the number of candidates, administrative exigencies etc. In such cases final selection will be on the basis of the merit position of the second stage examination. After the final results are announced, the selected candidates have to report to the office of the Railway Recruitment Board on a nominated day for verification of their original certificates. If they are unable to attend the verification on the nominated day, they are given a second opportunity. Before 02/01/1985 it was known as railway service commission. Railway recruitment board (RRB) Mumbai functions is regulated and controlled under the railways ministry of India. It’s primarily recruitment activity is to recruit “group C” staff for the Indian railways. RRB Mumbai announces the recruitment vacancy for Mumbai division and head quarter of western railway, and Mumbai, Nagpur, Sholapur, Pune, Bhusawal Division and HQ of Central Railway, Nanded Division of South Central Railway and Nagpur Division of South East Central Railway.
